Leeuwin's concerts enjoy a 26-year history featuring the world's finest musicians and entertainers.
Described as the most extraordinary concerts ever held in Australia, the annual Leeuwin Concert Series now enjoys a 24-year history and features an eclectic mix of the world's finest musicians and entertainers from Dame Kiri Te Kanawa to Ray Charles, Tom Jones and Sting.
A highlight in Australia's social and cultural calendar, visitors from all over Australia and abroad make the annual pilgrimage to Leeuwin Estate attired in anything from top hats to t-shirts to picnic on the sprawling winery lawns and enjoy the music of the industry's greatest performers.
As the sun sets over a majestic backdrop of karri forest and music fills the natural amphitheatre, Leeuwin's famous kookaburras commence their cackling chorus to the amusement of guests and entertainers alike.
In 2005 Leeuwin hosted a series of five concerts. The Waifs performed the Leeuwin Australian Family Concert on January 2. International superstar, Sting, performed two traditional Leeuwin Concerts on Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th February, whilst a third special concert, The Sting – Leeuwin Estate Tsunami Benefit Concert, staged on Thursday February 10th, raised $4.9M for victims of the Boxing Day disaster. The final concert in the 2005 Series featured Jack Johnson on Sunday April 3. All five concerts were sellout events resulting in some 30 000 guests enjoying concerts at Leeuwin in 2005.
Tickets to the Leeuwin Concerts traditionally sell-out instantly.
